Hello friends! I wonder if any of you still remember me, but I do still remember many of you :heart: I have to say that I haven't logged in in so long that I spent a lot of minutes trough these many buttons of the page to figure out how I could write this :lol: I know we're all having trouble this days, and I think that many of you are on quarantine ;_; Keep strong! I hope you're fine and healthy, please take care of yourself and the people around you, and the animals too please :crying: I'm not going to return here, but I really have to say that I'm so grateful to share many memories with many of you, I knew amazing people here and I still have those things inside my heart. I stopped drawing, because I don't have enough time and because I don't really want to (which it's kinda sad), but sometimes all what I want to do with my free time is sleep, read a book, watch anime or play videogames :C But I hope all of you that are still here, remain doing art and getting better. My Bio

My name is Geoff.

I am a 22y.o. (2012 at time of this writing) traditional artist with a passion for oil painting and film photography (although I shoot digital also). My favorite subject is night photography and landscapes. My drawings and paintings take a longer time to finish, so I work on them in my free time. I also go to nursing school and am learning the guitar.

What's in my Camera bag?

I got my first real cameras this year after being exposed to a "dslr" by a fellow painter and deviantartist who used it to photograph his works and references. In the next couple of months, I taught myself about dslr and rf photography, but in all that research and reading, I got caught up in analong-film photography and that's where I find myself getting the most satisfaction today.

I have:

- a Canon Eos 20D, 55-250mm Cannon EF-S lens

- a Voigtlander Vitomatic II 35mm rangefinder, 50mm Color Skopar lens

- a Hasselblad 500C 50mm Distagon lens.

Oil Painting Supplies!

Thanks to the people I sent a note to that helped me pick out some oil supplies! It has been bugging me ever since I started this page that I have barely anything with color on here!! Well, good news is, I'm ready to start oil painting! Like many of the master painters, I will use watercolor as my studies to prep for the actual paintings! Man, I am so freakin excitied. I've done very minimal acrylic work and even that was monochrome! So, I really would like to start splashing some wild colors up! The Awesome Sunday of SDCC 2012.

Wow yesterday was the truly best day of the con -I had the most sleep I've had since opening and just spent the day around the exhibit hall taking pictures, sitting around the DC booth watching Rose Red artist Mark Buckingham (Fables #15: Rose Red) and Jill Thompson (recently, Neil Gaiman's The Sandman) draw their characters in watercolor! Also, my sis also lined up for the new RE6 game, grabbed a free poster, and I met Donato Giancola for the first time -a well distinguished scifi/fantasy artist. ALRIGHT...

...It's friday, and I'm ready to start back on my drawing and I can't find where I put my last painting!! Ugh. I usually keep it in this black storage box in my room, next to my desk, but the last time I worked on it was before the shool semester started and I remember I put it away somewhere before going out to eat. Since then, I haven't been able to find it. I've worked on that thing for weeks now with a good amount of hours put into it.
